5 Simple Hair Styles for back to school!

So it is getting that time of the year again. School Time. I know that not everyone wants to go back to school. Including me. I just disagree with waking up at 6am going to school for 7 hours than coming home. I disagree morally. In the morning I like to spend as little time I possibly can getting ready so I can sleep more. :) So I am going to be showing you simple hair styles for school!

1. Messy Side braid
I think everyone knows how to braid hair. I just find myself using this hairstyle way too often because of how lazy I am but I don't want anyone to think I'm lazy.  This is very simple to do.
   1. Take three equal pieces of hair and move the three pieces in between each piece of hair until you get down to the bottom of you hair then tie it off with a hair tie.
   2. If you have layers like I do this step isn't too important because It already looks slightly messy. But gently pull on each piece of the braid all the way down to loosen it up.
   3. You are finished!!! :D Depending on the length of your hair the time can vary. I have slightly longer hair so this took me about 8 minutes.

2. The  Hair
If you don't know who Ariana Grande is she is an Actor/Singer and this is like her signature hairstyle she is almost always wearing her hair like this. Click on her name to go to her twitter. I really like this look because it pulls back you hair out of your face and also has a nice touch with the bow.
   1. All you need to do is take the front part of your hair (not your bangs if you have them) and pull it back and smooth out the top so there are no bumps in on your hair but don't make it really tight make sure it is slightly loose so your hair still has volume.
  2. ( If you have bangs) Take your bangs and twist them or braid them back and clip them in. I twisted my bangs because it took less time and I would recommended using a bobby pin but I always loose mine.                                 3. Go to the back of your hair where you hair tie is and use a plain ribbon and   tie it into a bow.
(Optional) 4. If you have straight hair and want it to be curly for this look you can do two things. First thing is braid wet hair into 3 separate braids and sleep  in them. Then take you hair  down in the morning and it will be wavy or you could curl the ends of your hair after you have your hair up. This will give the look more texture.

                            3. Pony tail with a twist

  1. Pull your hair up using a hair tie and leave one piece of your hair out. I would you a piece of hair from underneath the pony tail.
  2. After you take that piece of hair you will want to braid it all the way down and then wrap it around the hair tie until you can't see it. This will give the illusion that your hair is pulled up with your own hair.
   3. Now you are done! :D

              4. Hair Band

When I say Hair band I literally mean HAIR band.
  1. You are going to leave all of your hair down and take one piece of hair from underneath the side of your ear so where you took the hair doesn't stand out.
  2. Then you are going to want to braid that piece of hair.
  3. Take your hair make sure it goes behind your ear and take it over the top of your head to behind your other ear and clip it down and use your hair that is down to cover up the clip and where you got the piece of hair from.

      5. The I don't care
I use this way more often then I should but I think we all have those days..... or weeks that we just don't want to try and we don't even care.
  1. Pull your hair up into a loose high pony tail.
  2. Then take you pony tail and wrap it around your finger on the top of your head then take another hair tie and wrap it around the hair.
  3. BOOM looks amazing...... or comfortable. Whatever. :)

L'Oreal Paris New Power Moisture Shampoo.

L'Oreal Paris Power Moisture Hydrating Shampoo
with up to 7x more moisture for Normal to Dry Hair.
   Product:

On the back it says that it will, "Instantly provides a rush of moisture leaving hair soft and shiny and quenched over time." I agree that this makes my hair feel AMAZING! It makes my hair feel like I've just used a clarifying shampoo. So it also removes product build up. I think that it smells amazing. It smells really sweet. I give the product a 10/10 it works amazingly and smells terrific!
     Packaging:
The packaging is like most Shampoo it has a hinge that attaches the lid and the bottle which works fine but I wish that the hinge of the bottle was stronger because it has started to break off and the lid is going to fall off of it. I do prefer shampoos with a pump but it still works really well.  I give the packaging a 8/10 because the hinge is braking and because I prefer bottles with pumps it just makes it easier to get the product.
    Price:
My natural hair after using just the Shampoo.
My hair is kind of frizzy but I normally use conditioner
and products in it.
I bought the Shampoo at  Walmart for $5.97. I don't think it is expensive at all. You get 12.6 fl.oz- 375 mL. For a good product that works very well. I give the over all product a 9/10 because of the hinge on the bottle which can cause some trouble but the product is amazing. I recommend it.
I will be doing a review on the Conditioner that goes with this Shampoo.

Revlon Colourstay Concealer

Product:
I really like this concealer. I find that it works amazing on covering up redness, discolouration, and under eye circles. I don't think this covers up blemishes very well only because it doesn't cover it for very long a good concealer for that would be the Hard Candy Glamouflage concealer. It also has a very good colour selection and blends into the skin well. It does apply on very thickly so you don't need much. It doesn't have any type of smell to it at all which is something I really like about it. The product gets a 9/10. I wish it would cover up blemishes better but it still works great!
  Packaging:

The packaging reminds me of lip gloss. It definitely makes life easier because the packaging doesn't get all dirty. I also like because of the small wand or applicator that you use holds the perfect amount of  concealer to cover small imperfections. I give the packaging a 10/10 because I
honestly can't find anything wrong with it.
  Price:

I bought this concealer for $9.00 at Wal-mart. I don't think that is too much to pay because you don't need a lot of it and it works REALLY well. I also think it will last for a while. The whole product I give a 9/10 I really love it! I don't think it works well to cover up bigger blemishes but any kind of redness or discolouration it will definitely cover up and it lasts for a long time. I do recommend it and will be repurchasing it.

Revlon: PhotoReady Airbrush Mousse Makeup

Revlon Photo Ready Airbrush foundation in 040 Natural Beige.

  Product:
I don't like this foundation very much. I'm not a fan of the Mousse formulation with this product there are other brands with much better mousse formulations like Maybelline. When you apply it to the back of your hand it is a little air bubble. I don't like it very much because it feels really runny. It feels gross. It also sinks into my pores. The colouring for this is TERRIBLE! I put it on and I literally looked like an oompa loompa. -_- I did wear it all day just so I could see how long it lasted. I was covering my face all day. I felt like an orange teletubby or something. I felt ridiculous. It does last all day but It doesn't have great coverage. I was hoping the colour would fade out some but nope. I still looked terribly orange then it took forever to scrub off my face. It is very difficult to blend it out. It just smears all over your face. Just I hate it. The product gets a 1/10 because it did last all day. If it didn't look like I worked for Willy Wonka I might have liked it.
  Packaging:

I don't like the packaging either. It isn't like a normal pump. If you try to use it like a normal one it gets everywhere all over the top of the foundation container. Even when you do hold it upside down to get it. The packaging gets a 3/10 because I like that the container is made of metal so if I drop it I'm not terrified that it will break like if it was made of glass or plastic.
  Price:

out it still spears all over the top so it just looks messy.
I bought this at Ulta for $14.00. I think this WAY too expensive. I didn't like it but I mean they have much better foundations that cost less. I don't understand why this is so expensive. The whole product I give a 3/10 because I like what the container is made out of and that it lasts all day.... If only I didn't look orange.... *sigh* I will not be repurchasing or continue using this.

NYC Kohl Brow/Eyeliner Pencil

Eyebrow/Eyeliner pencil in 922 dark brown.
I was going to sample it but it would not sharpen or stay sharpened long enough
for me to draw with it or take a picture. After 20 minutes of taking pictures of a
pencil I was annoyed.

The way I "rate" this will be different by what it is used for because it is used for two different things.

 As an Eyeliner:

I honestly hated this as a eyeliner. I could never get it sharp enough to make a thin line on my eyelid. When I did it snapped off. It also smudged terribly, this might just be me though that eyeliners smudge on because I have REALLY oily eyelids so things crease easily and movie and just get ruined on my eyes unless it is waterproof or is just amazing. I hate it so much as an eyeliner. As an eyeliner I give this a 0/10 it didn't work for me at all it went everywhere and was really difficult for me to work with.
   As a Brow pencil:

It wasn't terrible as a brow pencil but like before it did smudge on me. I do have defined eyebrows not like tiny eyebrows but they aren't spread out so the whole not being able to sharpen it made a problem because it was so difficult to fill all the way in. The only thing I did like about it was it has PERFECT colours the colour selection is AMAZING. If they made it to where it didn't smudge easily and didn't break easily I would love it. But I don't. As a brow pencil I give it a 3/10 because I loved the colour it matched my eyebrows perfectly also I did look at the  other colours  and they are amazing and are perfect for all hair colours.
  Product in total:

It as expensive at all it was $2.00. So I'm not too disappointed because I didn't waste much money, but I was still upset because I love N.Y.C but I feel like their products are either total hit or miss. No in between like, "Oh that's okay." It is either this is terrible or this is amazing. I give this a 1/10 because I like the colour everything else I hate and I am disappointed. I definitely won't be repurchasing this.

Neutrogena: Pore Refining Toner

 Product:

On the back it says, "This effective alpha and beta hydroxy formula delivers visible results. First, it sweeps away dead surface skin and smoothes over rough, uneven patches. Then, it penetrates deep into pores to visibly reduce their appearance for cleaner-looking face. skin is left soft, smooth and refreshed." Now based on what it says it does make my skin feel smooth and refreshed but it burns my eyes. I don't put it on my eyes or near my eye but it is really strong and burns. It also doesn't really reduce pores. I have large pores it definitely cleans my pores but it doesn't reduce them. It is also a product and it works really well as a toner.  The product gets a 5/10 because it doesn't reduce pore size and that is the reason I wanted it but it does make my skin feel clean and refreshed and it tones your skin well.
 Packaging:
The cleanser comes in a bottle with a pop off top. I prefer when liquids have a twist off top because it is easier to keep it closed. I noticed with liquid anything that if you pop a top on it. It will still spill because it comes out of the edge. The packaging for this doesn't really stand out... at all. It is just a white bottle with dull writing. When I normally look for products the ones that catch my eye are normally the ones I get. The only reason I got this one was because I was looking for something specifically for pore reduction. The packaging gets a 6/10 because it does hold a lot of product so you are getting plenty of it but it does spill out easily and it doesn't really catch your eye if you are looking through products.
    Price:
I bought this at walmart for $6.47. It isn't too expensive because you get a lot of product. But the product itself for pore reduction isn't very good as a toner it is amazing. I do like it for toning and for how it makes my skin feel but it doesn't do what it is named for. I give it in total a 5.5/10 I won't be repurchasing it.

Maybelline Ultra Liner: WaterProof

This is the Maybelline Water Proof  Ultra Eyeliner  in 301 Black
Product:
The eyeliner is a very intense black. It works well and isn't too runny. It does smudge later through the day. Which I was disappointed about because that was the reason I got the Waterproof formula. It may not smudge on everyone but it does on me because I have very oily skin/eyelids. So waterproof anything is my best friend. So waterproof anything is my best friend. :)The product it's self reminds me allot of the Wet'n'Wild Mega Liner but the maybelline eyeliner smudges easier.  The product gets a 7/10 because I don't want to be worrying about it smudging all day.
Packaging:
It comes in the same package as most liquid eyeliners, but it definitely has more product in it. I know it is still small but it is more than the Wet'n'Wild mega liner or the Almay Liquid Liner. The only thing I don't like about it is the applicator because it is very flimsy. I would definitely recommend it to someone who has had more practice with eyeliner, but if you are just starting out with liquid liner I would get something with a more precise applicator. So the packaging and applicator gets a 9/10.
 Price:
I bought this at Walmart for $5.97. It isn't expensive considering that most of the eyeliners cost that much and had less product. I do like the liner but it smudges and I have to worry about having Panda eyes everyday. I give this product a 6/10 and I won't be repurchasing it.

Me wearing the winged out eyeliner.
It will stay like this for about 2 hours
then it starts to smudge.
